Prospect for downsizing opportunities with "buy more house" message
Most agents will attend a reverse mortgage presentation and learn that clients can buy more house with a Reverse Purchase and not connect/leverage this knowledge to their marketing activities. Once you've segmented your market and know where most of the senior clients are in your farm - especially those in two story homes - start using the fact that if your client downsizes they don't need an "all cash" purchase to avoid a payment as part of your pitch.

An all-star prospecting agent stated that a senior in his farm "jaw dropped" when he learned he could buy a $600k home with the $300k he will net from the sale of his home. This motivated the senior to get off the fence and list his home with that agent so he could be closer to his kids.
